RULES & REGULATIONS |
|
The cost for rental is $75 for some museum membership levels and $100 for non-members. |

Two week reservation notice required. Full reservation fee due two weeks before party. |

The museum requires a 48 hour cancellation notice. To give notice of cancellation or to reschedule your party, please call 704-636-2889 ext. 232 at least 48 hours before your party. |

Two cabooses are available for rental most Saturdays, January through November, with some black out dates for special events. |
|
Reservations are available from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 pm. or 1:30-3:30 p.m. and include a train ride around the property. |
|
Check your party in at Barber Junction Visitor Center. |
|
Please bring only prepared food; coolers are welcome on board. |
|
Pizza may be delivered to the site for the party. |
|
Keep in mind, there is no air conditioning or heating on the caboose. Please dress appropriately. |
|
Decorations are welcome, but please be considerate of the environment and refrain from bringing confetti. |
|
Parents are responsible for cleaning the caboose and disposing of all trash. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. |

SAFETY RULES |
|
The train crew and museum staff are trained in safety on the rails. Please follow all safety instructions. |
|
Only 15 persons (of any age) are allowed on the caboose due to Federal Railroad Administration regulations. |
|
Safety instructions will be given and must be followed at all times. |
|
Everyone should be seated while the train is in motion. |
|
The train crew will assign a door on the caboose for usage; please only exit and enter from that door. |
|
No one is permitted to stand over the yellow line on the station platform or between the rails. |
