Through the N.C. Transportation Museum's Tracks of an Engineer program, you can learn how to run an antique locomotive. You’ll enjoy a training session and one hour of "behind-the-throttle" time.

  • Operate an antique diesel locomotive around the museum's 57-acre site.

$200 – Fireman, Conductor and Engineer Level Members
$210 – Switchman and all Brakeman Level Members
$225 – Non-Members
